WVU in the News: 25 physician assistant students receive white coats
Students in the physician assistant program at West Virginia University received their white coats on Sunday.
After completing the classroom phase of their studies, 25 students will now spend the next 12 months doing clinical rotations lasting 4-8 weeks between all disciplines, some of those being pediatrics, emergency medicine and surgery.
Jennifer Momen, the program director for WVU’s physician assistant studies program, spoke with 12 News about the importance of this moment for the students.
