WVU receives NIH funding to dissect the mechanism of retinal degeneration

With funding from the National Eye Institute, WVU School of Medicine researchers Peter Stoilov and Visvanathan Ramamurthy are studying the role that specific proteins play in rapid retinal degeneration. Their findings could help to bring about more treatment options for people with retinal diseases.
