HSC Information Technology Services deploys the enterprise version of Kaspersky anti-virus / anti-malware protection to all. HS Domain connected Windows based computers Once connected to the server, your PC will automatically update as new definitions are available. Visit the Antivirus Download page to see all the options that may be available.
Mac computers located at the HSC, including Charleston and Eastern Division, can download and install the Enterprise Kaspersky software by clicking here. Once you have completed the agent install, the KES client will be automatically installed on your Mac. Please note the KES server address needed for the Mac installation is: kes.wvu.edu/HSC
For Windows and Mac computers located outside the HSC buildings (non-connected HS Domain computers), Kaspersky provides a web portal for downloading the consumer version of this product. The consumer version is available for students, offsite offices not connected to the HSC network, and for home use on up to 3 devices if you need a current anti-virus solution for your home computer.
The consumer version can be downloaded at http://freeav.wvu.edu and home support is available at http://usa.kaspersky.com/support/home.
