Alumni
The West Virginia University School of Nursing Alumni Association was established in 1964 by nursing faculty and the first class of BSN graduates. The Association is a non-profit organization with an objective to support the mission and vision of the School of Nursing, Health Sciences Center and West Virginia University, and to foster a spirit of camaraderie, scholarship and loyalty among our graduates, students, faculty, staff, friends and honorary alumni.
Our group strives to connect and celebrate alumni and friends while building and maintaining lifelong relationships. We hope you'll stay connected, and invite you to participate in all alumni events, including the social meet-ups held throughout the year, events around the country and the annual School of Nursing alumni celebration that takes place in June.
Through this website you can keep up-to-date on the latest information on alumni activities and school news, view our WVU Nursing Magazine, send us information for the magazine's Class Notes section, update your contact and career information.
These sites are a great way to share news, find a meet-up, search career opportunities or reconnect with classmates.
Events and activities for graduates are supported by the School of Nursing and gifts made for alumni activities. If you would like to support future alumni events and programming, you can make a gift online. (select "Other" and note "Alumni Programming" in the comment line.)
With more than 6,000 alumni and 50+ years of commitment to teaching and service, the School of Nursing proudly continues the tradition as a leader in nursing education. We appreciate your continued support. Let's Go Mountaineers!
